A concise pitch can include the subject, the reader question it answers, any firsthand experience or expertise involved, and the best way to reach you. Please identify any commercial relationships connected to the idea.

If you spot an error, include the page name, the relevant sentence or detail, and a reliable source when available. We review corrections carefully and update stories when a change is warranted.
